Curly Hair, Who Cares?

I've wanted to start a blog for a while. I never really knew what to do it about as I have so many ideas and thoughts in this crazy head of mine.
First I guess I should introduce myself. My name is Izzy, I'm a third-year MFL student at Aston University and I'm currently working in Paris for my placement. I'm a nerd, I love all things Disney, Marvel, musicals, you name it I'm probably into it. I'm a lover of fashion, music, reading, and above all, films.

I decided that with this blog I would just post whatever came into my head, different sorts of things that interest me, some particular themes and sections. I read, and I watch a lot of movies, so I started out thinking I'd compare the books I'd read to film adaptations of them. While I will still do that on this blog, I also wanted to share insights into my life and my brain, as well as more general stuff like fashion and hair care tips (for you fellow curly-haired readers out there).

Curly Hair, Been There is a segment that explore the different places in the world I have been, and my experiences there. I recently went on holiday to New York and over the next few weeks I'm going to share all the cool things I did while I was there. Since I was there for a week, this is going to be a seven part series, a post for each day. Saturday was great fun. Curly Hair, Been There: New York City (Part Six) Saturday was another fairly chill day. we went to the New York Public Library first thing, to see the original Winnie the Pooh toys, which were so cute and amazing to see. If you didn’t know, I adore Winnie the Pooh. It was a big, pretty building, in which the A.A. Milne box was the highlight. This was in the children’s library though, and I don’t think children are going to appreciate these as much as adults are. Curly Hair, Been There: Disneyland Paris Summer of Superheroes

If you didn't already know, I live in Paris and I love all things Disney. So, naturally, I have an annual pass and go up there as much as I can. This summer, it's all things Marvel! I went yesterday to check out #StudioHero and review all of the super festivities (get it??) Disneyland Paris: Summer of Superheroes All of the superhero stuff is in the Studios Park, rather than the main park, but it's still really cool. You walk in and the first thing you see, before walking through the studio, is this massive Captain Marvel Statue: And that's just the start. In the production courtyard, there are three more huge statues, of: The Hulk Black Panther And Iron Man. It's pretty cool to see all of this, and exciting to see your favourite heroes but bigger and better. The decor isn't the end of the fun though!
