Curly Hair, I Care

Ya gal is running a race! I found out that the uni where I work is hosting a race, so I decided that, since I've been getting into running, it'd be good to have a goal. So, she signed up.

The race is to sponsor cancer and lysosomal diseases, and for more info you can go to this site: https://www.unirunhec.org/

To donate to my campaign, go here: https://www.helloasso.com/utilisateurs/mclean-izzy/collectes/curly-hair-i-care-1

I would reaaaallllllllyyyyyyyyyy appreciate it and I will make sure to keep you all updated about how it's all going!

This is my current progress:

Which honestly I'm pretty proud of! The race isn't until April 14, so in the meantime I've just gotta work on my endurance and getting that time down!

Like I said, I'll post updates about my training, my collection and all that.
I'm aiming to raise 75€, 20 of which have already been donated so honestly anything helps, big or small you donation will be very much appreciated.

Curly Hair, Been There: Disneyland Paris

Curly Hair, Been There is a segment that explore the different places in the world I have been, and my experiences there.

Disneyland Paris
So, anyone that knows me, knows that I'm a huge Disney fan. Like, massive. I own all 55 of the movies on DVD or Blu-ray, as well as all 20 Pixar films. I. Love. Disney. So, it should come as no surprise that I've been to Disneyland a lot of times. I went for my 21st birthday, and as a part of this amazing gift I also received an annual pass to the Paris parks and two nights in the Disneyland Hotel (you know, the one that overlooks the park). So, since then, I have been back to the park three times, the most recent of which I shared on my blog's story. So, this blog is an overview of that day, and includes some tips for getting the most out of your Disneyland Paris experience.

First off, I should have gone earlier. With an annual pass you can experience Magic Hours anytime, even if you aren't staying in a Disney hotel. If you didn'…

Avengers: Endgame

Right so I've seen Endgame twice now and I have a lot of thoughts. Since I'm not a monster, I am going to respect the two week no spoiler rule. Since it came out last week, I'll be waiting until the end of next week to post anything with spoilers in it. Aren't I nice? So this is just going to be a totally neutral, spoiler-free review, and over the next few weeks I'll break down different bits of the film and my thoughts about them, since there is a LOT of ground to cover.

Endgame: Spoiler-free ReviewI mean, first off, if you haven't yet seen the biggest movie in the world, you either care about nothing or you're not committed enough to the most ambitious and impressive saga in cinema history. Both are terrible, but worry not, because as much as I'm judging you, you won't get any spoilers here. Although, if you are either of those two types of people, you're probably not reading this. Anyway.
This movie is just over three hours long, which sounds …

Curly Hair, What's in There? : Shaving

You might be wondering: what has shaving got to do with anything? Well, I got news for you. It's a big topic right now. And I have opinions. Let's get started.
Curly Hair, What's in There? : ShavingSome people have asked me recently why I've stopped shaving under my arms. My answer: it's for nobody but my damn self.
I'm still shaving my legs, because I feel a lot more comfortable when they are shaved. But, under my arms somehow doesn't matter as much.

It started from a couple of Instagram accounts I started following, called @bodyposipanda and @florencegiven.
Megan Crabbe is an advocate for body positivity and being comfortable in your own skin, and she is such an inspiration.

I will probably go out screaming this until I run out of breath but: YOU WERE MADE FOR MORE THAN HOW YOU LOOK. • You were not put on this earth to chase the beauty standard. You do not exist to be visually appealing to others. Your purpose does not lie in the n…
